I was looking for a lawn mower to crop up the unkempt grass in the lawn of our new house. The landscape around was pretty uneven and it looked like it hasn’t been maintained well over the past few months. So I picked up the Flymo Easimo 12.5 inch electric mountfield lawnmower, from World of Sport and I must say I have not been disappointed. The mountfield lawnmowers are reliable and are suitable for any type of garden be it for the lush green ones that need a slight cropping or the unruly ones that need more than just one round of chopping. The mountfield mowers have quite a few varieties too including mountfield petrol lawnmowers , however I decided to go with the electric one. It is not too huge and is hence very easy to handle.
It has a metal blade with a cutting width of 32 cm which is good enough for most gardens. One can change the cutting height manually and there is a cutting system that automatically collects the grass. The collection capacity of my lawnmower is a decent 29 liters which means I don’t have to stop and unload very often in one round. The motor is powerful and generates 900 watts of power. I could change the cutting height anywhere between 20 – 60 mm. The lawn mower has 4 wheels for good stability and weighs only 8.5 kgs. It is light enough for the teens in the house to handle it and not necessarily something only I can use.
For a small to medium sized lawn, the latter being the category of my garden, this electric lawn mower is perfect. It has built in rear rollers too, to give the classic striped lawn effect and I found that the faster the tip speed, better is the quality of the cut. It also comes with a good 10 meter cable.
